Just recently GEMA paid out to the writers we represent. Now we have just only 6 weeks to object. This is an important period, because you can expect that in 80% of all statements for music royalties you will find mistakes and titles missing. The mistakes not only come, because someone is doing them on purpose. It is the systems internationally, which are not really working together. So if you find anything strange in such statements, maybe you should give us a call and discuss further.

When we set up a trust account it will always be in your name.
Only you, as the account holder, are legally entitled to the funds in this account.

Every national claims collection society has a specific pay-out date, but not only are they all different, but usually there are no public announcemenst of these dates.
Our experience shows, however, that most of them tend to pay out towards the end of the year.

Every claims collection society has individual statutes of limitation: Thes can range from a generous ten years or more to only one.
